Cycling in the News - Doping

Well, now that Eddy Merckx has provided us some insight into the economic impacts of doping in cycling, maybe we should all start working our pharmaceutical marketing plans in order to reap the rewards. If the point is to focus on the culprits, then the punishments should be severe not only for the riders, but for any & all of those surrounding the outer fringes of the sport. Or organize like Major League Baseball and defy the governing bodies enough to drum up much needed media attention. Hey, bad news (coverage) is better than no coverage...
